# Add to Orbit (Black+)

> Use the black plus button to capture people, notes, tags, reminders, employment, and relationships with voice, text, or a photo across Mac and iPhone.

# Add to Orbit (Black+)

The black **+** is how Orbit grows between imports. Met someone, heard a detail, need a reminder — dump it in. Orbit proposes structure; you confirm.

## Open capture

* **Mac / web** — black **+** in the app chrome
* **iPhone** — capture screen from the tab bar

## Voice, text, or photo

| Input     | Use when                                                 |
| --------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Voice** | Walking out of a meeting; mic can start after permission |
| **Text**  | Quiet places; “Type instead” anytime                     |
| **Photo** | Business cards, iMessage threads, LinkedIn screenshots   |

## What Orbit can propose

From one note, Orbit may suggest:

* New **contacts** (or match an existing person)
* **Notes** on a timeline
* **Tags**
* Field updates — company, title, location, school, LinkedIn, birthday, …
* **Employment** and **education** history
* **Relationships** between people (“introduced by Dan”)
* **Reminders** — one-time or recurring
* A dated **interaction** so closeness stays honest

Clear one-person notes can apply with almost no friction. Ambiguous names ask: *which person?* or *create new?*

## After you confirm

You get a short success moment and a brief **Undo** window if something looked wrong.
