# Prep a job or fundraise conversation

> Use Orbit Search and Signals to map who you already know at a target company or in a sector before a job interview or fundraise coffee.

# Prep a job or fundraise conversation

Before the meeting, know who in your Orbit already sits in that world.

## Do this

1. Search the company and the function:

Who do I know at [company]?
```

Anyone in my network in [venture / fintech / climate / …]?
```

```text theme={null}
Former [company] people in my network
```

2. Open 2–3 people — skim title, notes, last interaction
3. Capture prep as a note on the contact or via **+**:

Coffee with Jordan tomorrow — ask about Series A process and who owns partnerships.
```

4. After the meeting, Add to Orbit what you learned (new people, titles, follow-ups)
