# Find a warm intro

> Use Orbit Search to find who in your network can open a door at a target company, then draft a grounded intro message you can send yourself.

# Find a warm intro

Ask Orbit who can introduce you — then reach out with context, not a cold email.

## Do this

1. Open **Search** on Mac
2. Ask for the target and the path:

```text theme={null}
Who can introduce me to someone at [company]?
```

```text theme={null}
Who do I know who knows [person or role]?
```

3. Open the people Orbit returns — check notes, meetings, and how you know them
4. Ask Search to help draft:

```text theme={null}
Help me draft a message to [name] asking for an intro to [target]
```

5. Send from your own mail or LinkedIn — Orbit drafts; you own the relationship

## When it works best

* Your graph includes the introducer (LinkedIn + Google help)
* You can name a **company**, **role**, or **person**
* You follow up while the context is fresh

<Tip>
  If Search asks which company or person, pick the option grounded in *your* network — those disambiguations are features, not failures.
