• Orbit for Mac 0.1.59 — Rolling out over the auto-updater. Launch Orbit and it will pick up the new build in the background — no reinstall needed. Learn more
• Native Apple Silicon nudge — If you’re on an M-series Mac running the Intel build under Rosetta, Orbit now offers a one-click download of the native Apple Silicon build for noticeably better performance. Learn more
• Per-architecture Mac downloads — orbitmy.co/download now serves the right DMG for your chip (Apple Silicon by default, Intel via the Intel button), so first installs are as fast as auto-updates. Learn more

• Fixed a case where transient update-feed errors could surface as a launch-time warning; update failures now retry silently in the background.

• Grounded clarify chips in Search — Ask something broad like “Who do I know in Europe?” and Orbit now offers follow-up chips built only from places and roles that actually exist in your network — no dead ends. Learn more
• In-thread “Show me more” (Pro) — Paginate a result set (10 → 25 → 40) inside the same Search conversation instead of restarting the query. Learn more
• Auto-return after upgrade — Upgrading from a Search result on Mac now drops you back into the same Search thread after checkout, with your question intact. Learn more

Updates

• Truthful counts and empties — “How many people do I know in New York?” returns an exact count rather than a capped list, and empty results now say so honestly instead of falling back to unrelated matches. Learn more
• Role and company searches are stricter — “Founders in my network” and “Who do I know at Google?” now match on real titles and current employers, so results stop pulling in loose bio mentions. Learn more
• Company switching in follow-ups — After a result for one company, asking “What about the New York Times?” starts a fresh entity search instead of reusing the previous company’s people. Learn more
• Warmer offline behavior — Transient network hiccups no longer show a “You’re offline” banner. Orbit retries once and falls back to local matches on name, company, title, school, location, and tags. Learn more
• Instant greetings and small talk — “Hi” and “How’s your day?” answer on device without a round trip, and curly apostrophes are handled correctly.
• Add to Orbit accuracy — Entity preview is more careful about which words are people. Possessives like “Philip’s” resolve to Philip, filler words like “Oh” and “It’s” are no longer highlighted, and unique matches auto-select so simple captures skip review. Learn more
• Past vs. present employment — When a note says “used to work at Nike,” the employment row is stored as past, not current, so profiles and Search stop showing former employers as today’s job. Learn more
• Safer merges — Merging duplicates preserves notes, tags, timeline, and relationships on the survivor, and never promotes a former employer to a current one. Learn more
• Reminder capture — “Remind me to follow up with Jordan next week” now confirms and lands in your Notifications bell reliably. Learn more

Fixes

• Removed redundant “Matches Founders —” / “Matches Doctors —” prefixes on role result cards; cards now show title and company cleanly.
• Fixed a case where a cancelled or superseded Search request could leave a permanent spinner.
• Fixed rare duplicate preview cards on iPhone — preview cards are now replaced, not stacked, when the final grounded answer arrives.
• Fixed the location-roster banner incorrectly showing “Showing name matches…” for city queries like “Who do I know in New York City?”.
