Text Orbit

Text Orbit lets you talk to your network the way you already text people — over iMessage.

​
Set up

  1. Open Orbit → Settings
  2. Find Text / Connect phone
  3. Link the phone number you will message from
  4. Start a thread with Orbit from that device

What to text

Same spirit as Search and Add to Orbit:
Orbit replies in the thread with people, answers, or a confirm that the note landed.

When to use it

  • Phone in hand, laptop closed
  • Quick capture after a coffee
  • “Who do I know at …” without opening the app
For long research sessions and Autopilot, stay on Mac.
