Quickstart

Orbit is Mac-first. Start on desktop for the strongest Day-1 moment, then keep iPhone as your capture companion.

Install Orbit

Download the Mac app from orbitmy.co/download, or use the web app. Sign in with Google, Apple, or email.

Connect a real source

Open Connect and link at least one source you actually use:
  • LinkedIn — one-click auto-import in the Mac app (or upload an export)
  • Google — contacts + calendar attendees
  • CSV — any spreadsheet of people
  • On iPhone — Apple Contacts
Orbit de-duplicates identities into one person per contact. Give the first import a few minutes.

Ask your network

Open Search and try:
You should get people from your graph — not a generic web list — plus a short answer.

Capture someone new

Tap the black + (Add to Orbit). Speak or type:
Review the proposal if Orbit asks, confirm, and they’re in your network.

You are ready when…

  • Search returns real people you recognize
  • At least one Connect source shows as synced
  • You can add a person without opening a CRM
